About us

Meet Darryl Shelton

With over 25 years of experience leading teams, growing organizations and coaching emerging leaders, I bring a practical, outcomes‑driven approach to leadership development. I’ve served in mission‑driven nonprofits, small businesses and faith‑based education settings—and I know firsthand what it takes to lead well.

Meet Danielle Shelton

I help organizations navigate change by strengthening their people and talent systems—from recruitment and workforce planning to HR operations and leadership alignment. With experience across nonprofits, start-ups, and the K–12 education sector, I partner with leaders to build scalable hiring strategies, improve employee experiences, and create people infrastructures that support growth.

That same expertise powers my work with job seekers. I bring real-world hiring and people-operations insight to career coaching, resume and LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation—helping professionals communicate their value clearly, position themselves strategically, and move confidently through today’s job market.

My Approach

If you’re looking for a quick fix, I’m not the person to call. But if you’re ready to do the work, build real skills, handle the messy in‑between and lead with intention—then we’ll get along.

Why we do this work

Early in our career we observed leaders with enormous responsibility who lacked the skills and frameworks to succeed. We also saw mid‑level professionals with potential who lacked direction, voice and confidence. We started NPTD because we believe leadership isn’t reserved for the few, it belongs to anyone willing to grow, learn and step into their influence.

Who we serve

Mid‑level leaders (assistant directors, managers, emerging directors) in nonprofits, business and faith‑based education

Organizations ready to move from struggle to strength
